The enemy is not advancing in Toretsk, Donetsk region, today, but the shelling is not decreasing, despite the smaller number of assaults, Spokesperson for the Luhansk Operational and Tactical Group Anastasia Bobovnykova has said on Thursday.
"The enemy is not advancing in Toretsk either, the contact line has not changed for a long time. We have stabilized the situation thanks to the units that are stationed in Toretsk," she said on the national telethon.
At the same time, Bobovnykova emphasized that although the defense forces are not allowing the enemy to advance, the intensity of Russian shelling is not decreasing, despite the smaller number of assaults.
"The enemy is using both aviation and artillery. And we do not see a decrease in these means," she said.
The spokesperson noted that the enemy still remains on the eastern outskirts of Toretsk.
On October 23, the Luhansk Group reported that the situation in Toretsk was relatively stabilized.
