The most difficult situation with light in Kyiv and the region, difficult – in Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and all frontline regions, said First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Energy of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
"The situation is very difficult. In some cities and regions, preparations for winter have failed. In these two days in office, I have seen that many things are frankly stalling. We will work in an active mode to restore order and speed up processes," Shmyhal said during a Question Hour to the Government in parliament on Friday.
As reported, speaking in parliament on the day of his appointment on January 14, Shmyhal said Kyiv had failed to prepare properly for winter.
