Ramstein format meeting to take place in coming weeks – Zelenskyy

A meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group at the Ramstein base will take place in the coming weeks, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

"We are also already seeing the outlines of a meeting in the Ramstein format, which will take place in the coming weeks. This is important. It is very important that each support package is fully implemented and that our steps with partners are truly common and as effective as possible," Zelenskyy said in a video address on Wednesday evening.

The President also reported on the results of his visit to Iceland for the Ukraine – Nordic Summit.

According to him, the topic of air defense continues. Zelenskyy added that the agreement reached at the NATO summit in Washington on air defense systems for Ukraine and the staffing of brigades had not yet been fully implemented.

"And we very much hope that our Nordic partners will help us in contacts with other partners. Agreements must be fulfilled. And especially in the conditions of such a war," Zelenskyy emphasized.
