Air defense shoots down 33 out of 62 drones, another 25 UAVs locally lost – Air Force

On the night of October 30 (from 20:00 on October 29), the enemy launched a missile of an unspecified type from Belgorod region on the private sector in Sumy region, and also attacked with 62 Shahed-type strike UAVs and unspecified types of drones from the directions of Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), the Ukrainian Air Force reported on Wednesday morning.

"As of 07:00, 33 enemy UAVs have been confirmed shot down in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Chernihiv and Poltava regions. Twenty-five drones have been lost locally," the report published on the Telegram channel states.

The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
