Zelenskyy discusses Victory Plan in detail with reps of Ukrainian civil society
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with representatives of Ukrainian civil society.
"In particular, Maksym Butkevych, a Ukrainian human rights activist and soldier whom we recently managed to free from Russian captivity, was there," Zelenskyy said in a video address on Wednesday evening.
According to the president, the meeting participants discussed in detail the Victory Plan, the need to unite in order to return justice to Ukraine together, and to talk with partners about what can make the country stronger.
"We count on unity in promoting the decision of partners to invite Ukraine to NATO, as well as to develop our defense system," Zelenskyy emphasized.
He also added that partners should be more actively encouraged to be decisive in defense cooperation.
