Zelenskyy on rumors about replacing Umerov and Budanov: I wasn’t going to do it
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had no intention of replacing Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Chief of the Main Intelligence Agency (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov.
"I didn't intend to do this. I was not going to replace Budanov. This information was circulating, yes. There was no such question about Umerov either," Zelenskyy commented to journalists on rumors about the replacement of the head of the Ministry of Defense and the head of the Main Intelligence Agency.
