Ukrainian air defenses destroy 24 of 28 drones, locations of another two lost – Air Force

Last night, the Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 24 of 28 enemy drones, another two were suppressed by the electronic warfare and their locations were lost, the Ukrainian Air Force has said on Saturday morning.

According to its message on the Telegram channel, the Russian occupation forces attacked Ukraine with unidentified missiles fired from Belgorod region and 28 attack drones launched from Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk on the night of October 12.

Anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and other defense forces of Ukraine repelled the aerial attack.

"As a result of the air defense battle, 24 enemy drones were shot down in Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions. Locations of another two enemy drones were lost due to active work of electronic warfare," it said.
