Macron assures Zelenskyy of France's continued support for Ukrainian resistance to Russian aggression
French President Emmanuel Macron assured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of France's continued support for Ukrainian resistance to Russia's aggressive war during a meeting in Paris.
"And here I want to once again reiterate France's support for Ukrainian resistance in the face of Russia's aggressive war. This was an important moment. For us, it was also an important step to be able to discuss with the president the coming weeks and months, as well as military and diplomatic work," Macron said during a conversation with journalists after talks with Zelenskyy at the Elysee Palace.
According to him, he and Zelenskyy had "another very good conversation."
Macron also said that the Ukrainian leader "outlined in detail his plan and work for the coming weeks."
