Ukrainian air defense eliminated 28 of 32 enemy Shaheds drones that attacked Ukraine, four more were locally lost, and four X-59/69 guided air missiles were also shot down, the Ukrainian Air Force reports.

"On the night of September 25, 2024, Russian occupiers attacked Kharkiv region with an S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile and three missiles of an unspecified type, Odesa region - with four X-59/69 guided air missiles from the airspace of the Black Sea, as well as 32 Shahed-type attack UAVs [launch areas: Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk - Russia]," the report says.

It is reported that as a result of the air battle, 28 attack UAVs were shot down, and four more drones were locally lost as a result of electronic warfare countermeasures.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Air defense operated in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Sumy, Poltava, Mykolaiv, Odesa and Kherson regions.
