Reintegration Ministry: Sumy region's residents of frontline communities start receiving winter payments from UNICEF
The Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories and UNICEF continue a joint project of financial support for families with children living in the frontline territories of Ukraine, the department's press service said.
"This week, payments have been made to more than 2,000 households in Sumy region located in a 30-kilometer zone from the contact line. Thus, over 2,500 children from vulnerable families will be provided with everything they need on the eve of the winter period," the ministry said in the Telegram channel.
In addition, the Reintegration Ministry reported an increase in the total number of people in frontline areas from 60,000 to 100,000 who are planned to be covered by assistance in preparation for the winter of 2024 and 2025.
Earlier it was reported that households in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Kharkiv regions began to receive this type of payment.
