Air Defense shoots down 20 enemy UAVs in six regions
On Wednesday night, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile, two S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles, six X-31P anti-radar missiles and 25 Shahed-type strike UAVs, the Air Force command reported on Telegram.
"As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, 20 strike UAVs were shot down, five enemy drones were lost on Ukrainian territory," the report said.
Meanwhile, no information was received about casualties or damage.
It is noted that aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, mobile fire groups and electronic warfare units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the enemy's air attack.
In particular, air defense was in operation in Kyiv, Kherson, Cherkasy, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions.
