Pistorius promises Germany's further support for Ukraine with 'no ifs or buts'
During talks in Berlin on Thursday, German Foreign Minister Boris Pistorius assured his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umerov that Germany will continue to support Ukraine, emphasizing that his country's assistance will be focused on air defenses capabilities.
"Minister Pistorius assured his Ukrainian counterpart Umerov of further help today in Berlin: 'Air defense remains the main focus of German support. This year we will deliver IRIS-T systems including ammunition and Gepards. We will continue to help after that too – no ifs or buts'," the German Ministry of Defense said on the X social network.
