Air defenses destroy 12 of 18 enemy Shahed drones last night

On the night of Friday, the Ukrainian air defense shot down twelve of 18 enemy Shahed kamikaze drones launched by the enemy, the Ukrainian Air Force has said on Friday morning.

"As a result of the air battle, twelve Shahed-131/136 attack drones were shot down, four were lost (fell on their own)," it said on the Telegram channel.

The air defenses operated in Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Sumy regions.

The air command also reports that on the night of August 30, the enemy launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile attack from Crimea and 18 Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones from Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk regions, Russia.

"Aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and defense forces of Ukraine were involved," it said.
