Air defense forces shoot down 30 out of 38 Shaheds in eight regions of Ukraine – AFU Air Forces

At night, the Russians attacked Ukraine with ballistic missiles and 38 attack drones, air defense eliminated 30 UAVs, Commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleschuk said on Tuesday morning.

"On the night of August 13, 2024, the enemy attacked with two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from Voronezh region and 38 Shahed-type attack UAVs from the districts of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk - RF," Oleschuk wrote on the Telegram channel.

He noted that as a result of the anti-aircraft battle, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, aviation, anti-aircraft missile units and electronic warfare equipment of the Air Forces shot down 30 enemy UAVs in Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Kirovohrad, Kherson, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Cherkasy regions.
