Zelenskyy: We do not stop working to strengthen air defense
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that work to strengthen air defense systems for the Ukrainian military does not stop.
"We do not stop working with partners so that we have more air defense systems and more high-quality training and support for all units of the sky defenders," he said in an evening video address on Sunday.
According to him, "the priority remains the maximum strengthening of the Ukrainian air shield, air defense and combat aviation." "Every night and every day during this war, Ukrainians suffer from Russian strikes. Indeed, much has already been done to ensure our ability to defend ourselves, but not everything that is necessary," he noted.
At the same time, Zelenskyy emphasized that "one of the key elements of the air shield of any state is combat aviation."
"At all levels, we must continue to tell our partners what is needed to close the Ukrainian sky - to close it from Shahed drones and from missiles. Among them, from North Korean missiles," the president concluded.
