Kyiv allocates UAH 480 mln for procurement of drones, boats, vehicles, equipment for front
Ukrainian-made machinery and equipment worth UAH 480 million has been purchased at the expense of the Ukrainian capital's budget and sent to the front, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has said.
"I met with Chief of Staff of the Anti-Terrorist Center, Colonel Dmytro Koziura. He conveyed gratitude from the fighters. And I assured that the community of Kyiv will continue to help our defenders," he said on the Telegram channel on Tuesday.
The headquarters purchased unmanned reconnaissance aircraft complexes of airplane type, night vision devices, drone detection and combating systems, radio communication equipment, mobile solar stations, a cargo command and staff vehicle, and motor boats.
Earlier, Klitschko reported that Kyiv increased aid to the Ukrainian army from the city budget to UAH 7.5 billion. Also, the Ukrainian capital raises charitable assistance in the form of drones, electronic warfare, equipment.
In 2023, Kyiv allocated 10% of its budget, more than UAH 7 billion, to support Ukrainian servicemen.
