Ukrainian Red Cross implementing Mobile Medical Teams program in Sumy region
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS), with the support of the Swedish Red Cross, is implementing the Mobile Medical Teams program in Sumy region.
"During the week, mobile medical teams visited 45 settlements and provided assistance to 816 people," URCS said on Facebook on Thursday.
Specialists of the Ukrainian Red Cross mobile medical teams examine patients, measure blood pressure, determine blood glucose and oxygenation levels, and provide primary medical care. In mobile teams, it is possible to obtain the necessary over-the-counter medications of general therapeutic action to stabilize human health. If necessary, medical teams transport patients to medical institutions.
In Sumy region, mobile medical teams of the Ukrainian Red Cross work in Krolevetska, Trostyanetska, Glukhivska, Nedryhailivska, Putyvlska and Krasnopilska merged territorial communities (hromadas).
