DTEK will fully restore power supply to all consumers in Kyiv region by June 1
DTEK has focused all its resources on restoring power grids damaged due to hostilities in Kyiv region and intends to restore power supply to all consumers in the region by June 1, DTEK CEO Maksym Timchenko said.
"Today, 1,600 km of power grids have been damaged in Kyiv region. DTEK has pooled all resources and capabilities and directed them to ensure that all residents of the region have electricity by June 1," Timchenko said.
In order to fulfill the task, the company additionally attracted its own emergency repair teams from Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa regions, as well as the city of Kyiv.
"At the first stage, electricity is connected according to temporary schemes. After that, power supply will be resumed according to a permanent scheme, which will require more time and financial resources," DTEK noted.
