Russia attacks in Odesa region cause significant damage - DTEK
Russia again struck the energy infrastructure of the Odesa region on the night of December 22, DTEK Group reported on Monday.
"The damage is significant. It takes time to restore the equipment. The air raids that sound every hour also add to the difficulties," the energy holding noted.
At the same time, it assured that despite the professional holiday, energy workers are working in an intensified mode to restore critical infrastructure and citizens’ homes in the Odesa region as soon as possible.
As reported, the Russia attacked energy facilities in the Odesa, Zaporizhia, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Zhytomyr regions on the night of December 22, and electricty was partially restored by the morning. According to National Power Company (NPC) Ukrenergo, on Monday morning, in particular, there was a power outage for a significant number of subscribers in the Odesa region.
