Key parameters of Ukraine's budget 2019 meet parameters streamlined with IMF
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko held a phone conversation with Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Christine Lagarde and discussed the key parameters of the national budget of Ukraine for 2019.
"According to the preliminary assessment by the IMF, the key parameters of Ukraine's national budget for 2019 meet the parameters streamlined with the IMF," Poroshenko wrote on his Facebook page on in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Lagarde confirmed that the IMF is ready to provide the respective technical assistance to Ukraine in the issue of reforming fiscal policy and tax administration.
In addition, Poroshenko said that the introduction of martial law would not influence cooperation with the IMF.
