The government of Ukraine has decided to start the heating season in the country from October 15, 2018, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said.
"Today we make a decision on the start of the heating season from October 15," he said at a government meeting on Wednesday, and the decision was approved.
Groysman said that it is important to look not at the calendar dates, but at the current temperature.
"It is very important for people to get hot running water and heat in their homes, and this should all be done as quickly as possible," he said.
