Updated list of affordable medicines contains 58 fully reimbursed medicines
The updated list of medicines under the Affordable Medicines program includes 58 medicines, which cost will be fully reimbursed using the national budget funds.
Health Ministry resolution No. 1446 dated August 3, 2018 amending the register of medicines, which cost is to be reimbursed as of July 23 has been posted on the ministry's website.
As reported, on July 23, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine approved the preliminary register of medicines, which cost will be reimbursed. The updated list contains 261 medicines from 49 pharmaceutical manufacturers: 18 Ukrainian and 28 foreign ones. Initially, some 35 medicines were placed to this list. A total of 23 manufacturers reviewed their price offers and were able to place their medicines to the list.
The previous register of Affordable Medicines contained 239 medicines, and the cost of 47 medicines was fully reimbursed from the national budget.
