Nord Stream 2 violates principles of transparency, equal access

The Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, if it is built, will violate the principles of transparency, non-discrimination and equal access, Director General of the Directorate-General for Energy of the European Commission, Dominique Ristori, has said.

"Our position is clear: we believe that Nord Stream 2 does not promote the diversification of sources and routes of gas supplies," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday.
