Biden orders sanctions against Nord Stream 2 AG - statement

U.S. President Joe Biden announced that he ordered the imposition of sanctions against the Nord Stream 2 operator, Nord Stream 2 AG.

"Today, I directed my administration to impose sanctions against Nord Stream 2 AG and its leaders," the White House said in a statement.

"As I said, we will not hesitate to take further action," Biden said.
