Nord Stream 2 to harm Europe's energy independence - U.S. deputy secretary of state
The United States is against the construction of the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline which undermines Europe's goal of diversification and energy independence, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan said in a speech on U.S.-Ukrainian relations before Ukrainian students in Kyiv on Wednesday.
The implementation of this project will also cause damage to Ukraine's energy sector and economy, he said.
