Ukrtransgaz passes assets worth UAH 250 bln to branch GTS Operator

PJSC Ukrtransgaz has transferred assets worth UAH 250 billion to its branch Operator of the Gas Transportation System of Ukraine (GTS Operator), acting president of the company Myroslav Khymko has said at a press conference in Kyiv.

"Some 50,000 items of assets worth UAH 250 billion were transferred on November 30," he said.

According to him, the branch has also signed 1,100 gas transportation contracts, 19,000 more contracts are to be re-signed by the end of this year.

At present GTS Operator employs 209 people. In future the number of workers will be expanded to about 12,000 people by transferring personnel from the relevant regional units of Ukrtransgaz.

The expert also said at the end of the heating season the company plans to form another new structure, the operator of underground gas storage facilities.
