SCM transfers blocking stake in DTEK Dniproenergo from Ornex to GPL Ingen Power
The SCM Group, owning a blocking stake in public joint-stock company DTEK Dniproenergo, has transferred the stake from Ornex Ltd to GPL Ingen Power Ltd (both based in Cyprus), the energy company has reported in the information disclosure system of the National Commission for Securities and the Stock Market.
Thus, GPL Ingen Power holds 25.13% of shares in DTEK Dniproenergo, and Ornex's stake became 0%.
As reported, Dniproenergo is one of the largest energy companies in Ukraine. It owns and operates 25 power units at Zaporizhia and Kryvy Rih thermal power plants, and Dnipropetrovsk-based Prydniprovska thermal power plant with a combined installed capacity of 8.185 GW.
DTEK Energy Holding owns 72.9% shares of Dniproenergo, and 25% belongs to SCM.
