Military pensions to be increased on average by UAH 1,500 from Jan 1
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has said that the average rate, to which pensions will be raised for servicemen from January 1, 2018, will be UAH 1,500.
"Modernization of pensions will occur automatically. We stipulate that combat pensions should be higher than regular pensions of military personnel," Groysman said during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on Wednesday.
According to him, this draft law should be considered at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council.
"The increase in pensions for military pensioners can be no less than an average of UAH 1,500," Groysman said.
