Govt selects KPMG auditor of Oschadbank's financial report for 2017
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has selected private joint-stock company KPMG Audit an external auditor of the financial report of Oschadbank for 2017 (both based in Kyiv).
The resolution was approved on December 1, 2017 and posted on the government's website.
The government approved the fee for the audit services at UAH 4.25 million.
PricewaterhouseCoopers (audit) LLC (Kyiv) audited financial reports of the bank for 2015-2016.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) removed PricewaterhouseCoopers (audit) LLC (Kyiv, the Ukrainian structure of PwC) from the register of audit forms that have the right to conduct audit of banks, as the central bank revealed a deficit of capital of PrivatBank in the amount of over $5.5 billion which PwC audited for many years.
PwC seeks to annul the decision of the NBU.
