Oschadbank opens first business hub in Kyiv
Oschadbank last week officially opened in Kyiv the first business hub in its Ukrainian network, OschadBusiness, positioning it as a flagship space for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
"Ukrainian businesses need not only loans, but also an environment where ideas, partnerships, and scaling are born. That is why we created the OschadBusiness hub, which brings together financing, knowledge, and opportunities," said Oschadbank Chairman of the Board Serhiy Naumov.
The bank noted that the space also provides for educational activities and business events and includes a networking area.
For her part, Board Member responsible for MSMEs Natalia Butkova-Vitvytska said the hub will operate on a "one-stop-shop" principle and will serve as a platform for consultations, participation in grant and partnership programs, as well as access to lending products.
"Next year, the bank plans to expand the OschadBusiness hub network beyond the capital," she said, without specifying the number of new locations.
The new branch is located at 26/14 Spaska Street and also includes a service area for premium clients.
Oschadbank is the leader in Ukraine by number of branches, with 1,142 outlets, although in the third quarter it reduced its network by five branches.
According to Oschadbank, in 2022–2025 its MSME loan portfolio tripled. Some 25,000 of the bank's clients received state grants, while international financial institutions (IFIs) provided about UAH 1.5 billion in support. Approximately 20% of financing was directed to businesses in frontline regions, and half of clients used guarantee instruments from IFIs and the government.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, as of October 1 this year Oschadbank, with total assets of UAH 485.81 billion, ranked second by this indicator among Ukraine's 60 banks.
