Coal stocks in TPPs' warehouses in Ukraine 9.4% up over week
Coal stocks in the warehouses of Ukraine's thermal power plants (TPP) increased by 9.4% (by 99,700 tonnes), to 1.164 million tonnes in the period from November 6 to November 13.
According to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, during this period the reserves of anthracite decreased by 3.3% (by 17,200 tonnes), to 503,400 tonnes, while gas coal stocks increased by 21.5% (117,000 tonnes), to 660,400 tonnes.
In addition, coal reserves in the warehouses of combined heat and power plants in Ukraine fell by 6.3% (by 18,900 tonnes), to 279,500 tonnes. In particular, anthracite reserves on the morning of November 13 were less than those on November 6 by 7.4% (by 17,700 tonnes), to 220,300 tonnes, gas coal stocks were 2.2% less (by 1,300 tonnes), to 59,100 tonnes.
