Dredger of Belgium's Novadeal arrive in Yuzhny seaport
The Breughel dredger of Novadeal Ltd., a subsidiary of DEME Group (Belgium), on November 2, 2017 arrived in the Yuzhny port to carry out dredging works.
The press service of the Ukrainian Sea Port Authority reported that at 11:00 the Breughel suction hopper dredger moored near berth 1. Later in the evening the Odin dredging plough arrived.
It is planned that the dredging works will continue until late November 2017.
"The contract with Belgium's Novadeal Ltd. was a third project aimed at boosting the port's capacity and increasing its investment attractiveness. Project works are required to maintain passport depths of the Yuzhny port and securing navigation in the water areas of berths 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 16, 17, 3N and 38," Head of the administration of the Yuzhny port Maksym Shyrokov said.
