Mriya threshes 240,000 tonnes of early grain

Mriya agroholding has finished harvesting early grain, threshing 240,000 tonnes from 57,200 ha.

The company said in a press release on Friday that the company harvested 176,400 tonnes of winter wheat from 35,300 ha.

The company also finished harvesting winter barley, rapeseeds, rye, spring rapeseeds, barley and wheat, peas.

The company used 508 units of own and leased machinery during the harvesting campaign.

"This year we hoped for optimal production cost, not large yield. We are satisfied with the results. For example, the yield for spring barley exceeded the target by 26% and for winter rapeseeds – by 17%," Mriya Chief Operations Officer Andriy Hryhorov said.

He said that the agroholding has commenced sowing winter rapeseeds.
