Oschadbank early pays UAH 500 mln of NBU refinancing loan
Kyiv-based Oschadbank on March 17 early paid the UAH 500 million refinancing loan to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), the bank has said in a press release.
According to the report, since 2015, the bank returned NBU refinancing loans in the amount of UAH 17.862 billion, and around UAH 15.5 billion of them were paid early. The bank is to pay around UAH 2 billion to settle the entire debt to the NBU on refinancing loans.
"We plan to pay the entire sum in 2017," Oschadbank Board Chairman Andriy Pyshny said.
Oschadbank was founded in 1991. Its sole owner is the state.
Oschadbank ranked second among 93 banks operating in the country on January 1, 2017 by total assets (UAH 210.099 billion), according to the NBU.
