Government approves national list of essential medicines
Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has approved the national list of essential medicines, Deputy Health Minister Roman Ilyk said at a press conference on Thursday.
"The national list approved today is harmonized with the new basic list of essential medicines of the Whole Health Organization (WHO). All medicines have efficiency, safety and ROI approval from the WHO experts," he said.
Ilyk said that the adoption of the new list is intended to provide patients with medicines in the entire hospital segment and for outpatient treatment under the reimbursement program.
