Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman backs the creation of an energy exchange where imported and Ukrainian-made coal will be sold on the market conditions.
"We need to build an absolutely transparent coal market. Our task is to build the energy exchange where imported coal and our coal will be sold on the market conditions. This is principally important for us," he said on Inter TV Channel on March 3.
The prime minister said that the exchange is functioning in the gas sector. Ukrgazvydobuvannia is working on it.
"These are public companies that start selling at the market prices," he said.
Groysman also said that setting the common market price of gas by the government helped to liquidate corruption in the gas sphere.
