Ukraine to expand military-technical cooperation with Indonesia
Ukraine intends to develop military-technical cooperation with Indonesia.
According to the press service of Ukroboronprom state concern, promising partnership was the subject of negotiations between the parties within the framework of the seventh international exhibition of defense technology Indo Defense 2016 Expo & Forum, taking place in Jakarta (Indonesia) on November 2-5.
According to the report, during the meeting representatives of the Armed Forces of Indonesia showed interest in Ukrainian radar systems, guided air-to-air missiles, as well as new Ukrainian military transport aircraft.
Indo Defense 2016 Expo & Forum has been held with the support of the Defense Ministry of Indonesia since 2004 every two years simultaneously with Indo Aerospace and Indo Marine, and covers almost the entire spectrum of weapons and military equipment used by the armed forces in South-Eastern Asia. According to the organizers, more than 600 companies from about 50 countries participate in the exhibition.
