Ukraine informs Indonesia about preparations for second Global Peace Summit – MFA
Ukraine and Indonesia held political consultations at the level of deputy foreign ministers in Kyiv on Thursday, during which the Indonesian side was informed about preparations for the second Global Peace Summit.
"The Ukrainian side at the consultations was headed by First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha and the Indonesian side was headed by Director General for American and European Affairs (with the rank of Deputy Minister) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia Umar Hadi," the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said.
Indonesia was also informed in detail about the situation in Ukraine.
"It was noted that the only basis for a just peace is the Peace Formula of President [of Ukraine Volodymyr] Zelenskyy," it said.
The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between Ukraine and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), "given Ukraine's desire to become a Sectoral Dialogue Partner of the Association."
