Germany supports possible provision of another tranche of IMF loan to Ukraine – foreign minister
German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier has said that Germany supports the possible decision of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to provide the next tranche under the EFF program to Ukraine.
Speaking at a joint press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault in Kyiv on Wednesday, Steinmeier said Germany supports the reforms in Ukraine and would be happy with the IMF decision to help Ukraine in the further development of these reforms.
The foreign minister added that Germany is ready to develop joint projects with Ukraine.
