Government backs appointment of Khutorny acting director of Pivdenne design bureau

Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has approved a proposal of the State Space Agency of Ukraine to appoint Viktor Khutorny acting director general of Pivdenne design bureau (Dnipropetrovsk).

This is outlined in cabinet resolution No. 255-r of March 23, 2016.

Until recently Khutorny headed Makarov National Center of Youth Aerospace Education (Dnipropetrovsk).

Oleksandr Dehtiariov, who headed the bureau since September 2010, was dismissed from the post on February 17, 2016 under recommendations of the State Financial Inspectorate. Dehtiariov was offered the post of chief designer of the bureau.

Pivdenne design bureau is one of the most well-known and recognized scientific and design companies in the world in the field of space technology development.
