The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated another UAH 272.5 million in subventions to the budgets of 21 regions and Kyiv for the construction of shelters in schools, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has announced.

Within the framework of the "Offline School" comprehensive policy, this year we have provided over UAH 11 billion in subsidies and subventions for the construction of shelters and over UAH 2 billion for the purchase of school buses," Shmyhal said at a government meeting on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister recalled that in 2025, together with communities, the government plans to implement 185 projects for the construction of shelters in Ukrainian schools.
"Today, we are allocating another UAH 272.5 million in subventions to the budgets of twenty-one regions and the city of Kyiv. We expect regions and communities to use these funds effectively," he added.
