UkrSibbank (Kharkiv, part of BNP Paribas Group) has increased its charter capital by UAH 3.29 billion, or 2.9 times, to UAH 5.064 billion by issuing additional shares.
"The procedure of increasing the capital of UkrSibbank, announced in autumn 2015, was completed on February 3, 2016. As a result of BNP Paribas international group and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development increased the charter capital of UkrSibbank by UAH 3.29 billion," the press service of the bank said.
The press service told Interfax-Ukraine that on the basis of capital increase the share of BNP Paribas S.A. in the bank decreased to 59.99% from 84.9996%, while that of the EBRD rose to 40% from 15%.
UkrSibbank was founded in 1990.
UkrSibbank ranked ninth among 123 banks in Ukraine in October 2015 in terms of assets (UAH 38.084 billion).
