Energy sector reform remains crucial for Ukraine – EC Vice President
The reform of Ukraine's energy sector remains the key one in the list of reforms discussed with the European Union, the issue was voiced at a meeting of European Commission Vice President for Energy Maros Sefcovic with Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin in Brussels.
"A good meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Klimkin. We're discussing a broad EU-Ukraine agenda. The energy sector reform is crucial," Sefcovic wrote on his Twitter page.
The Ukrainian minister noted the meeting is also attended by Deputy Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Ihor Didenko and Head of Naftogaz Ukrainy Andriy Kobolev.
Earlier Sefcovic's press service said he plans to meet with Ukrainian Minister of Finance Natalie Jaresko in Davos (Switzerland) on January 22.
