Monetary base in Ukraine 4.6% up, money supply 1.9% up in Dec 2015
Monetary base in Ukraine in December 2015 rose by 4.6%, to UAH 336 billion, money supply was up by 1.9%, to UAH 988.9 billion, according to the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
According to the report, monetary base in 2015 grew by 0.8%, money supply by 3.4%.
The volume of cash outside banks in December increased by 3.6%, to UAH 282.9 billion, while in 2015 its decrease was 0.03%.
