DTEK resumes gas imports from EU

DTEK Trading LLC on September 27, 2015, resumed natural gas imports from Europe, according to DTEK energy holding's press service.

"The gas will be split among the holding's enterprises, external industrial consumers, and clients of the company. The amount of gas shipments by the end of the year will be adjusted depending on economic feasibility and the situation both on the Ukrainian and European markets," the press service said.

As was reported, DTEK started importing gas from Europe in 2003 and brought 628.3 million cubic meters of gas to Ukraine during the year.

On the European market, the company has experience of cooperating with Alpiq Energy SE ( the Czech Republic), Axpo Trading AG (Switzerland), E. ON Energy Trading (Germany), EDF Trading Limited (Great Britain).
