Financial inspectors find no infringements by Ukrinterenergo during imports of Russian electricity, supplies to Crimea
The State Financial Inspectorate of Ukraine, after an examination of the financial and economic operations of Ukrinterenergo state enterprise, did not find infringements during import and export transactions on electricity.
According to the press service of the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry, the check also confirmed the lawfulness of the agreements which were signed to export and import electricity.
The check, which was ordered by the Cabinet of Ministers, was conducted between January 2014 and June 2015.
The press service said that the use of funds by Ukrinterenergo in part of the implementation of a contract to import electricity from Russia and its sale to the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea was checked.
