Cabinet extends moratorium on business checks until late 2016 – minister
The Ukrainian government at a cabinet meeting on June 24 supported the proposal of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine on the extension of the moratorium on business check ups by monitoring agencies until late 2016, Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavicius has said.
"We will work on searching for new approaches to checks by all supervision agencies," he said at a meeting of the government with business associations in Kyiv on Thursday.
As reported, since autumn 2014 a moratorium has been in place on business checks for all companies, apart from checks conducted by the State Financial inspectorate and the State Fiscal Service. The checks can be conducted with a government permit or under the request of the company itself.
