Deposit Guarantee Fund starts liquidation of Zlatobank
The Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund has started the liquidation of Zlatobank, according to a report on the website of the fund.
"In accordance with National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) decision No. 310 dated May 12, 2015 on revoking the banking license and liquidating PJSC Zlatobank, the fund executive directorate made decision No. 99 on May 13, 2015 about the beginning of the liquidation of PJSC Zlatobank," reads the report.
Valeriy Slavynsky has been appointed as the authorized person of the fund for the bank's liquidation.
As reported, the fund introduced temporary administration at Zlatobank from February 14 until May 13.
Zlatobank was founded in 2008. The largest shareholder of the financial institution on January 1, 2015 was Avangard-Expo LLC (97.94%), the sole beneficiary was Olena Yakymenko.
Zlatobank ranked 28th among 158 banks operating in the country as of January 1, 2015 by total assets (UAH 7.814 billion), according to the NBU.
