NBU, People's Bank of China to sign agreement on currency swap soon
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) and the People's Bank of China soon will sign a swap agreement for the currencies of the two countries, the Ukrainian regulator wrote on its Facebook page.
According to the NBU, the agreement will be signed during a working visit of NBU Governor Valeriya Gontareva to Shanghai between May 12 and May 15.
The NBU also said that Gontareva will discuss the key trends in the development of global and regional economies and the global financial system, structural changes in the banking sector, inflation pace, ways of reforming the financial systems, and other issues at the 33rd meeting of the Central Bank Governors' Club of Central Asia, Black Sea Region and Balkan Countries.
