State-controlled Oschadbank (Kyiv) has repaid coupon yield in the amount of $22.2 million on eurobonds maturing in 2018, the bank press service has told Interfax-Ukraine.
"Oschadbank on March 20 made a scheduled payment of the coupon on time and in full," the spokesman said.
As reported, Oschadbank in March 2013 placed eurobonds worth $500 million maturing on March 20, 2018 at a rate of 8.875% per annum.
In addition, Oschadbank has eurobonds worth $700 million maturing on March 10, 2016, on which it also repaid a coupon of $28.9 million in early March.
Oschadbank was founded in 1991. Its sole owner is the state.
Oschadbank ranked second among 158 operating banks in the country on January 1, 2015 by total assets (UAH 128.104 billion), according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
